Innovation, Growth and Partnerships: Fresh Hub Group’s Story Featured in FPJ

Fresh Hub Group has been featured in this month’s edition of Fresh Produce Journal. A thank you to the FPJ team for shining a spotlight on our journey so far and what’s next for us.

A journey of transformation

From our beginnings in 2009 as a UK based business, Fresh Hub Group has evolved into a multi division international group with operations in Spain, Morocco and the Netherlands. Today, we’re proud to work across seven distinct business units, supported by grower-shareholders managing over 20,000 hectares of global fruit production.

This growth has been powered by a clear vision: to combine innovation, partnerships and sustainability to deliver more for customers, consumers and growers alike.

Growth and ambition

Our latest results show an increase in turnover, driven by organic growth and strategic acquisitions such as Fruit Forever, our citrus specialist business unit. Looking ahead, we’re targeting a further 10–15% growth over the next five years, with a focus on expanding our footprint and introducing exciting new varieties.

Innovation at the beating heart of FHG

Innovation is central to everything we do. From trialling new products to expanding our Explore brand beyond grapes and citrus, we’re committed to flavour, sustainability and strong grower partnerships. Explore has already made waves in the UK and is now set to reach EU markets, with plans to move into new categories.

Turning Challenges into Opportunities

Climate change, inflation and global market dynamics present real challenges. But by investing in sustainability, building strong teams and balancing organic growth with strategic acquisitions, we’re confident in turning these challenges into opportunities for long term success.
